George Bell, (1878-1966) Studied at the National Gallery School in Melbourne .
He spent his early years overseas, and on his return set up the Contemporary
Art Society in Melbourne , and became a leading teacher, Among his students
were Russell Drysdale, Sali Herman, Fred Williams, Ian Armstrong, Harry
Rosengrave, and many others. George Bells art is represented in Most Major
Galleries in Australia . His artwork is also represented in many Collections in
Australia , UK , and USA .
