George Bell, (1878-1966) Studied at the National Gallery School in Melbourne.
He spent his early years overseas, and on his return set up the Contemporary
Art Society in Melbourne, and became a leading teacher, Among his students
were Russell Drysdale, Sali Herman, Fred Williams, Ian Armstrong, Harry
Rosengrave, and many others. George Bells art is represented in Most Major
Galleries in Australia. His artwork is also represented in many Collections in
Australia, UK, and USA.
