Purveyors of Fine Affordable Art and Services without the Hype
My name is Doug Kane, and I welcome you to visit my website. I offer a comprehensive range of services to art lovers, backed by 30 plus, years’ personal experience as an art dealer. My knowledge and expertise have been gained not only in my home base of Australia but enhanced through significant periods spent living and trading in my profession in international art centers in the United Kingdom and Europe and by study tours abroad. As owner/director of Doug Kane Fine Art, which I founded after my initial art studies in the early 1970s, I enjoy the freedom to practice a life philosophy – to share my all-embracing love of art with others and to watch them enjoy the experience. To fulfill this desire I run my business with an eye to making quality art affordable to those who want to share its joys. I not only specialize in buying and collecting art by important and prominent Australian artists but have a keen interest in overseas artists as well. I am based in Korumburra, 115 KM, South East of Melbourne , and have over the years traded and bought art widely in Western Australia and of course, my home state of Victoria . A personally rewarding part of my life has been to help organize fund-raising exhibitions in Victoria and South East Australia for worthy causes. I feel blessed to be able to work from home, living in green rolling hills country, surrounded every day by nature’s own beautiful artwork. Although I have been a traditional art trader for over three decades, I have also been successfully selling artwork on internet for the last ten years. Please enjoy my website which brings together the traditional side of my business with the new avenues for trade offered by the cyberspace age. Do look at the quality art I have on display and read the Home page to see what services I can offer you. I am only too happy to answer any questions or to help you with any of your art needs. Happily at your service. Doug Kane.
