William Henry Short; (1879-1947) ,  born in Melbourne in 1879. Son of Will Short Snr, and Grandson of Henry Short. He studied under his father, and briefly in Tasmania. A painter of Still Lifes, landscapes and Seascapes, he had his first Exhibition in Melbourne before WW1. His work is in many Gallery and Private Collections in Australia, and the UK. He died in 1947.
