EMANUEL, Cedric; (born New Zealand, 1906 died 1995). Representational Painter and Illustrator, and Printmaker. Studied at the Royal Art Society under Dattilo Rubbo, Sydney Art School, under Julian Ashton. Has been drawing and Painting for over 75 years, and is well known for his Illustrations of some 49 books. Has exhibited in most States of Australia, and including Holdsworth Galleries in 1988. Won Etching award in Sesqui-Centenary National Art Competition 1938. Is represented in all major Galleries in Australia, and many Regional and Private Collections.
