Gerald George, ANSDELL; (born UK 1890, arr Aust 1919, died ?) Painter and Printmaker,
(predominately etching). Studied at Sydney Art Schools. Subject matter is “romantic” mainly
traditional Land and Seascapes. Similar artwork to Lionel Lindsay, Edward Warner, Harold
Herbert, and George Cope. Represented in Australian National Gallery, and many Private
Collections.
