MARGOSCY, Paul: (born Melb 1945) a most talented self taught painter of birds and
wildlife, naturalist STUD: for three years in UK & Europe. Council member of AGRA
& WAS of Austr, & VAS. In 1978  Paul became engrossed in wildlife art and concentrated
on improving his technique. Paul was included in a 1990 book, presenting 70 of the best
living traditional artists in Australia, he was commissioned by Aust Post  in 1991 for a
stamp issue and also by the UN in 1994 for an endangered species series. Paul was the
only Australian artist to be chosen for two consecutive years to exhibit in the highly
acclaimed Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Birds in Art, exhibition in America,
making him the third Australian to be chosen in 20 years out of 3500 wildlife artists from
all over the world.  Paul has had outstanding successes in UK, USA, Holland, Austria,
Osaka Japan and the prestigious Raffles Hotel in Singapore. Won a staggering 46 Art
Awards from 1981-88. He is represented in many prestigious international art collections,
as well as collections throughout Australia.
